Trim Levels
The 2022 Jeep Gladiator boasts nine exciting trims to choose from. These are the Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Altitude, Willys, Overland, Rubicon, High Altitude, and Mojave. The base trim features 17-inch black steel wheels, 245/75R17 all-season tires, and black exterior mirrors. Willys Sport comes with 17-inch black wheels and 32-inch mud-terrain tires, as well as a black grille body and fender flares. Sport S includes much of the same features as the Willys Sport, but it also has 17-inch tech silver aluminum wheels, power heated windows, and power-locking doors and tailgate.
Altitude takes it up a notch with 17-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, a black freedom hardtop, and a black grille with exterior accents. The Willys trim boasts Willys hood decals and 4WD tailgate decal in addition to cab rock rails. Overland comes with 18-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels and side steps. The Rubicon trim features 33-inch all-terrain tires and steel off-road rock rails. Mojave, which is the top-of-the-line trim, boasts 33-inch all-terrain tires and high-clearance fender flares, as well as most features on other trims.
Engine
The Jeep Gladiator is available with a 3.6-liter V-6 24V VVT engine with ESS and a six-speed manual transmission that features a short-throw shifter, low first and reverse gear, and a vent tube to ford water. An eight-speed automatic 850RE transmission is also available with this engine. You can also select a Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system to keep you steady no matter the roads you travel.
Performance
The 2022 Jeep Gladiator comes with several performance features that make driving it a breeze. Some of these features include precision steering and optimized wheelbases for a swift veer around tough areas. Its high water intake and special water sealing keep you dry even when driving through streams and creeks.
