With an impressive nine trim levels, it's easy to find the Gladiator that fits your unique needs. The base Sport level comes equipped with 17-inch black steel-styled wheels and a black Sunrider soft top. With the Willys Sport trim, you get deep-tint sunscreen windows, cab rack rails, and 32-inch mud-terrain tires. Meanwhile, the Sport S trim offers 17-inch tech silver aluminum wheels and automatic headlamps.
At the Freedom trim level, you get gloss black aluminum wheels and LED front fog lamps. The Willys trim mainly focuses on interior upgrades, but the Overland boasts 18-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels and a premium front bumper. With the Rubicon, you get unique badging and a dual-vented hood. The Mojave comes with a performance hood. Engine (Power)
The Gladiator comes with two impressive engine options. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V-6 that offers 285 horsepower with 260 pound-feet of torque. If that's not enough, you can opt for the diesel version, which is a 3-liter V-6 that produces 260 horsepower with an incredible 442 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The key to performance in a pickup truck is its capability, which you'll find no shortage of with the Gladiator. When properly equipped, it can handle a maximum towing capacity of 7,640 pounds, which is significant for a truck this size. Even the least powerful version can still tow up to 4,000 pounds — which is more than the highest-rated Wrangler — while still offering comparable off-road capabilities. The maximum payload capacity is also impressive, reaching 1,700 pounds.
Interior
Inside the Gladiator, you'll find a comfortable and roomy cabin for yourself and your passengers. People riding in the rear will enjoy the 38.3 inches of legroom, which is among the most spacious in its class. If you're carrying more gear than passengers, you can fold the rear seats down in a variety of ways to accommodate it.
