The 2023 F-150 lineup offers six engines, including a 3.5-liter PowerBoost Full Hybrid V-6 capable of producing 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque. While that sounds impressive, it doesn't measure up to the Supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 in the 2023 Ram 1500 TRX. This iconic engine is the same engine that features in Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and under the TRX's hood, it can produce 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. This best-in-class output enables the Ram 1500 TRX to go from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
Safety Features
The F-150 and Ram 1500 are both designed to protect your most precious cargo, which is why the two trucks come standard with forward-collision systems that can detect vehicles and pedestrians as they enter your path and apply the brakes as needed.
The Ram 1500 also comes standard with a blind-spot monitor that will alert you to vehicles entering your blind-spot zones and automatic high beams that can detect oncoming traffic and dim so they don't blind approaching drivers. Unfortunately, the F-150 doesn't come standard with blind-spot monitoring or high-beam assistance, which means you'll have to pay extra for a higher trim level to take advantage.
